Relaunched in 2019 in celebration of Sportstar’s 40th anniversary, the ACES Awards celebrate the stars, the future stars and the tireless silent partners who have dedicated their lives to sports, to realise the dream of making India a ‘sporting nation’. There are many untold stories of struggle, fierce dedication and selfless work behind each athlete’s success.
    The Popular Awards are a platform for the public to vote for the best sportspersons of the year in the following categories. The poll results will be shared with the jury, which will take the final call :
  • Sportstar of the Year (Male)
  • Sportstar of the Year (Female)
  • Club of the Year
  • National Team of the Year
  • Moment of the Year
Based on the popular votes, the top two contenders in each category will be reviewed by the jury, who will decide the final winner.
    The jury comprising experts from the sports world will decide the winners in the following categories. These categories are not open for voting.
  • Sportsman of the Year [Cricket]
  • Sportswoman of the Year [Cricket]
  • Sportsman of the Year [Track and field]
  • Sportswoman of the Year [Track and Field]
  • Sportsman of the Year [Team Sports]
  • Sportswoman of the Year [Team Sports]
  • Sportsman of the Year [Individual Sports]
  • Sportswoman of the Year [ Individual Sports]
  • Sportsman of the Year [Racquet Sports]
  • Sportswoman of the Year [Racquet Sports]
  • Parathlete of the Year (Female)
  • Coach of the Year
  • Young Athlete of the Year (Male)
  • Young Athlete of the Year (Female)
  • Lifetime Achievement Award

  1. Click 'Tools' (the gear icon) in the browser toolbar.
  2. Choose Internet Options.
  3. Click the Privacy tab, and then, under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies, and then click OK.

Google Chrome
  1. Click the context menu in the browser toolbar to the right of the address bar.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Click "Show Advanced Settings."
  4. Click Content settings in the Privacy section.
  5. Ensure that the bullet for "Allow local data to be set (recommended)" is checked.
  6. Also ensure that "Block third-party cookies and site data" is unchecked.

  1. Click the Tools menu from the top toolbar.
  2. Choose Options.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Under "History" select "Use custom settings for history" from the drop-down menu beside "Firefox will."
  5. Ensure that the checkboxes for "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies" are both checked.
  6. Click OK.
